A fun camp aimed at teaching and improving your game of badminton. Played a bit already? We can make you better! Have never thought about playing? Try it out, the camp will cover all aspects of the game with games, challenges and even mini matches!

Ross Gore Badminton level 1 qualified with over 20 years coaching experience in a variety of racket sports. 

During a typical day's badminton camp at Cranford we will look at grip fundamentals, effective movement, and tactics. We will focus on developing shot skills including the serve, drop, clear and smash plus many more.

Feedback from my son was ‘it was good’ which in his limited communication mode means he had a great time (‘it was ok’ = had a good time, and ‘it was alright’ = I don’t want to do it again).  Later on he volunteered that he thought he was getting better at badminton and that he had a lot of fun, he went on to ask if could he do more of those activity days. So to translate further, chais activities gets his full endorsement and he would go again and again.
Which is lucky because we intend to do so a lot, he’s booked onto the week long tennis course which he can’t wait to do. High praise indeed!

My son loves Chais Activities, I hadn’t planned to book so many days but he’s having so much fun he wants to keep going back! Lacrosse was an absolute hit this week, tennis was brilliant, as always, and the Friday fun day was brilliantly imaginative! All the coaches are very kind and have made the days really enjoyable. A great addition to the school holidays!

Fun packed camp of tennis games, drills and challenges

This form of lacrosse is played in primary schools. 

It is a non-contact version of lacrosse which uses inexpensive plastic-headed sticks and large, softer lacrosse balls. 

The game is usually played as a five-a-side mixed game and is fast paced and fun to play.

Amazing time, I really enjoyed this so much I asked to come back again, I ran loads and was exhausted by the end, and I loved scoring goals.

This exciting 3 day event will include mini tennis, table tennis, badminton and full size tennis(weather dependant). The days will consist of playing and experiencing the different racket sports and using skills which are shared across them all!
